Who Are We?
Munondida foundation was founded in response to the plight of the underprivileged and marginalised girls and women in Nyanga, a relatively small area where those in need seldom receive assistance. The name “Munondida” is a Shona word which translates to “You love me” and this is meant to reflect the organization’s core idea, which is to make the marginalized feel loved. Beyond providing material aid, we create fellowship and lasting relationships with the people whose lives we help to improve because emotional and psychological well-being is just as important as physical wellness.
Women’s Economic Empowerment
We strive to establish equal opportunities for women to generate sustainable income for their families and grooming economic leaders in rural communities to be the catalyst in meeting the needs of women.
Supporting and educating adolescent girls from different wealth quantiles, who are prone to teen pregnancies, child marriages, sexual and gender-based violence, including trafficking rape and sexual slavery.
